Centrinity Announces Firstclass User Group Conference To Be Held At Open Text’s Live Linkup Conference 2002
TORONTO – October 17, 2002 – Centrinity Inc. (TSX: CTI), the developer of the FirstClass® Communications Platform, today announced that a special FirstClass User Group Conference will be held in conjunction with Open Text™ Corporation’s (Nasdaq: OTEX, TSX: OTC) annual Live LinkUp Conference in Chicago on November 4-8, 2002. Judi Steele is the president of the Las Vegas-based Clark County Public Education Foundation. Las Vegas is the fastest growing metropolitan area in the United States and Ms. Steele’s presentation will focus on communication strategies and overcoming growth, chaos and complexity.
Allan Cattier is the director of the Academic Technologies Group at Emory University. Mr. Cattier’s presentation will discuss the use of FirstClass as a campus wide messaging and collaboration application and the specific features that have made it successful as both a teaching and community communications tool.
