Weller Introduces High Tech Education & Training Initiative
Washington, May 20 – Congressman Jerry Weller (R-IL) announced today that he and colleagues Reps. Tom Davis, Judy Biggert, Don Manzullo and Mike Honda have introduced the Technology Retraining And Investment Now Act of 2004, known as the TRAIN Act, H.R. 4392. Bi-partisan legislation, the TRAIN Act, aims to address the yearly shortages in qualified high tech workers faced by U.S. companies on an annual basis by offering both employers and employees a tax credit for technology training.
