The Gemological Institute of America (GIA) Offers Hands-On Jewelry Manufacturing Arts Classes in Chicago
CARLSBAD, Calif. — The Gemological Institute of America (GIA), the world’s foremost authority in gemology, is offering several exciting extension classes this spring in Chicago.
Beginning April 30, hobbyists and jewelry industry professionals alike will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of GIA classes that combine the glamour of fashion with the wonder of science.
GIA will present four of its most popular jewelry manufacturing arts classes in Chicago: Basic Repair & Setting of Jewelry April 30-May 4; Intermediate Repair & Setting of Jewelry May 7-11; Advanced Stone Setting May 14-18; and Platinum Fundamentals May 21-24.
Now in its 70th year, GIA is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology and by the Distance Education and Training Council. GIA is also licensed by the California Bureau for Private, Postsecondary, and Vocational Education.
