Texas Department of Information Resources Selects Wire One’s Glowpoint Network

(Nasdaq: WONE), a provider of video communications solutions, today announced that its award-winning Glowpoint(SM) network has been selected by the Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR) to carry videoconferencing traffic for VidNet ( www.dir.state.tx.us/tsd/datavideo.htm), a state-wide video communications system connecting various public organizations and affiliated entities. Wire One has already begun the process of managing H.320 traffic on VidNet for 32 initial locations, and will soon begin migrating all system traffic generated by these locations to the H.323 protocol on Glowpoint.
