Senators propose tax credits for IT training costs

(April 25, 2001) WASHINGTON — A bipartisan group of U.S. senators yesterday introduced a bill that would provide a tax credit of $1,500 to $2,000 per person to companies that invest in training programs designed to increase the IT skills of their workers.
