Securitas USA Secures GeoLearning’s GeoMaestro Platform for Hosted LMS/LCMS
GeoLearning, Inc., the leading provider of hosted learning management systems and e-learning content, announced today that Securitas Security Services USA, Inc., a subsidiary of the world’s largest security services company, has chosen the GeoMaestro™ platform as its enterprise-wide learning management system (LMS) and learning content management system (LCMS) solution.
Securitas USA will deploy GeoLearning’s hosted platform to manage e-learning content delivery and development for its 100,000 employees across the United States. The GeoMaestro™ LMS will provide enterprise-wide registration, tracking and reporting while the LCMS will be used to develop e-learning content and convert existing classroom and print-based material for online delivery. GeoLearning’s Custom Courseware division has also been contracted by Securitas USA to develop a series of courses in the areas of security management, supervision and customer service.
The initial phase of the Securitas LMS program will see the system rolled out to the company’s administrative offices and training and human resources staff, as well as a pilot program to one of its major clients.
