Position Announcement: Director of Continuing and Extended Education
SDSU, the state’s land grant research institution, is seeking a new Director of Continuing and Extended Education to exercise comprehensive strategic leadership as it deepens and expands its historic commitment to non-traditional education. CCE at SDSU comprises both fully online and hybrid programs, as well as face to face instruction at the institution’s main campus in Brookings, SD and at off-campus locations in Sioux Falls, Rapid City, and Pierre, the state capital. The University has identified the expansion and broadening of CEE as one of its principal priorities for the future.

The Director of CEE reports directly to Kathleen Fairfax, the institution’s Assistant Vice President for Academic Affairs for International Affairs and Outreach, who is a nationally-recognized leader in international education. One of the exciting opportunities
awaiting the new Director will be working with Kathleen to create imaginative new synergies between international and online learning.
