Pathlore Expands Content Options for e-Learning
COLUMBUS, Ohio — Pathlore, the most widely deployed e-Learning management system provider, today announced it has certified Macromedia Web Learning Studio, the complete authoring solution for online learning, with Pathlore Learning Management System.
This will enable developers, instructional designers and subject-matter experts to create and deploy engaging, SCORM- and AICC-standards-based learning applications for delivery via the Web, corporate intranets or CD-ROM.
Using the standards-based Macromedia Web Learning Studio, developers can address the full range of application and delivery requirements — from simple Web-based tutorials to sophisticated rich-media simulations — with complete confidence that the content created will integrate with Pathlore Learning Management System and be compliant with SCORM and AICC standards.
“Macromedia is committed to delivering products that author standards-compliant e-Learning content that is trackable by leading learning management solutions like Pathlore’s,” said Pat Brogan, vice president of education and learning at Macromedia. “By writing to standards, content providers who use the Macromedia Web Learning Studio can focus their attention on delivering engaging, effective courseware, and not back-end integration.”
Macromedia Web Learning Studio includes all new versions of Macromedia authoring products — Authorware 5.2, Flash 5 and Dreamweaver. The studio supports industry standards to ensure the learning content it creates can be easily tracked by learning management systems.
“Macromedia Web Learning Studio will help us make standards-based learning even more accessible,” said Dave Evangelisti, vice president of marketing at Pathlore. “Pathlore will continue to seek partnerships with leading organizations that help make our learning management system as easy as possible to use and deploy.”
