Ohio Universities Select SunGard SCT Solutions to Help Improve Student Services and Institutional Competitiveness

Wright State University (WSU) and Youngstown State University (YSU) have joined 21 other Ohio higher education institutions in selecting SCT Banner, one of the most widely-used collegiate administrative solutions, it was announced today by SunGard SCT, an operating unit of SunGard (NYSE:SDS).

Both universities are using an array of SunGard SCT software and services to create and manage a Unified Digital Campus — an environment in which distributed systems, individuals, and communities can interact seamlessly for the purposes of administration, teaching, and learning. The SCT Banner Unified Digital Campus combines a premier administrative solution with portal, integration, information access, content management, and academic solutions; Internet technologies to personalize the user experience; and an architecture that supports interoperability across disparate systems within the institution and beyond.

Both institutions licensed:

· The entire SCT Banner suite which supports institutions of all sizes and types as a tightly integrated suite of proven, scalable, enterprise-wide applications on a single database;
· SCT Luminis Platform which provides a solid foundation of infrastructure, integration, and portal features that help clients unify, extend, and manage the digital campus;
· SCT Operational Data Store (ODS) and the SCT Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) which integrate with SCT Banner to provide the capabilities for accessing and reporting on institutional data, analyzing data to assist with performance measurement and decision support, and putting knowledge tools in the hands of managers and decision-makers to help increase productivity and performance;

· SCT e~Print Reports, a Web-based report distribution and archiving system.

In addition, YSU licensed SCT Campus Loan Manager, a Web-based software system that helps institutions manage campus-based loan accounts and collect on delinquent student accounts.
