New York bans Indian net tutors
Online tuitions by Indian teachers to American children has come under the US Government scanner after a landmark judgement by the New York Education Department, wherein the department has cancelled the contract of an American tutoring company that was using 250 online Indian teachers. The sole reason being that long distance teachers cannot be subjected to background checks, which is a mandatory requirement in the US.
