Nevada’s First Statewide Virtual Charter School to Serve Grade 4-11
RENO, Nev., March 22 /PRNewswire/ — Nevada students will have an
exciting new public school alternative this fall that delivers exceptional
schooling to students in a unique distance education “school without
walls.” Nevada Connections Academy (NCA), Nevada’s first statewide virtual
charter school for students in grades 4-12, was authorized by the Nevada
State Board of Education earlier this month. NCA can enroll students from
anywhere in the state, and is now accepting applications for students
entering grades 4-11 in the 2007-2008 school year. Grade 12 will be offered
in 2008-2009.
