Network Associates Expands Educational Programs With KnowledgeNet
SANTA CLARA, Calif., March 29, 2004 – Network Associates, Inc. (NYSE: NET), the leading provider of intrusion prevention solutions, today announced that it is extending its educational offerings through Sniffer® University to now include web-based courses that complement the organization’s existing classroom training and Sniffer Certified Professional Program. By extending Sniffer University to include e-learning, customers and partners will be able to access best-in-class knowledge, training and tools from anywhere and at anytime, which enables Network Associates® to extend its key Sniffer learning courses globally.
Network Associates has partnered with KnowledgeNet, a leading learning company, to bring this expert-led and self-paced e-learning technology to the Sniffer University program, enabling training to be localized on a global scale, with solutions available in multiple languages including English, French, German and Spanish. The web-based training is currently available to Network Associates channel partners and sales force through KnowledgeNet, and will be rolled out to customers worldwide in the third quarter of 2004. Course offerings will include training and education for InfiniStream® network management, Sniffer Portable Lab Series 10GbE Analyzer, and Troubleshooting H.323 Voice over IP with Sniffer Voice classes to help network professionals gain advanced knowledge and skills necessary for troubleshooting complex network issues and network performance problems.
