Air Force Research Laboratories (Simulation Center) Have you wondered what it is like to fly in an F-16 fighter jet? Our visit to the Air Force Research Laboratories will provide the opportunity to participate in the Lab’s 4-ship F-16 Test Bed, competing with each other in a simulated learning exercise. Don’t forget your motion sickness pills!

Also included will be demonstrations of the AWACS Control Station, a visit to the briefing/debriefing facility, and a review of the fighter pilot training process.

CubiC PROJECT: Center for Cognitive Ubiquitous Computing Research extending from visual cognitive modeling and human motion analysis to haptic visualization and interfaces, CubiC is exploring and developing tools and techniques that permit the blind to recognize color and understand charts, and enhance the capabilities of telesurgery where accuracy is essential.
