Kaplan Higher Education Expands Office Space to Accommodate Growing Online Business and Staff
BOCA RATON, Fla., Aug 15, 2002 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ — Reflecting the company’s plans for continued growth in its online higher education businesses, including a doubling of staff in Boca Raton over the next two years, Kaplan Higher Education, a unit of Kaplan, Inc. and a subsidiary of the Washington Post Co., has just signed a lease for an additional 18,000 square feet of office space at the company’s headquarters at 6409 Congress Avenue, which it moved into just last summer. This brings the total office space to 45,000 square feet and will allow Kaplan to continue the rapid growth of its online operations in Boca Raton – creating more than 200 jobs within the next two years.
