ISTE Opposes House Appropriations Committee Elimination of Critical Technology Funding for Classrooms
The International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) vehemently opposes the vote by the House of Representatives Subcommittee on Labor, HHS and Education Appropriations to eliminate funding for the Enhancing Education Through Technology (EETT) program. The House Appropriations Bill for fiscal year 2007 passed the Appropriations Subcommittee on Labor, Health and Human Services and Education on a party line vote (9 yeas vs. 7 no’s).
