Imrglobal Offers Suite of Java Software Components for E-Learning Application Development

May 24, 2001

IMRglobal Corp. (IMRglobal) (Nasdaq: IMRS), a leading

global provider of end-to-end information technology solutions, announced today the release of

a comprehensive suite of Java software components for developing e-learning applications.

Clic Trade, a major online brokerage in France, is the first client to leverage the e-learning suite

to improve customer relationships.

The product, known as e-learningComponents, comprises X, JSP and EJB components based

on an MVC (Model-View-Controller) architecture developed using J2EE (Java 2 Enterprise

Edition). In addition to generic components (e.g., authentication, online help, multilingual

support, navigation, connection pooling and session management), the product comprises a set

of teaching components (e.g., learning path, exercises, multiple choice questions, calculator,

gap-filling, text entry, list selections, random question generator, quizzes and tests, reports,

glossary, library, etc.). It also contains a series of training administration modules (e.g., users,

sessions, modules, etc.).

Our e-learning components enable users to rapidly develop e-learning applications and

integrate them into their Internet or intranet sites, says Satish Sanan, president and CEO at

IMRglobal. We look forward to working with Clic Trade in implementing the product to

develop innovative e-learning systems.

IMRglobal recently completed the development of a Web-based e-learning system for Clic

Trade using e-learningComponents. The system provides online training to Clic Trade

customers, enabling them to enhance their investment knowledge and online trading skills. The

application comprises 32 different training sessions on the stock exchange and financial

markets.
