Here’s an IDEA: individualized schedules for kids
As summer winds down and the new school year launches, many students find themselves back in a building they remember very well.
This is not the case for almost 4,000 Interior Distance Education of Alaska students. While IDEA students in grades K to 12 do have an office building — actually five in Alaska — they don’t visit them every day.
