Handbook of Distance Education for Adult Learners
It is a very new field, and as a result, the Handbook itself is a work in progress. It identifies the key issues and offers guidance on what is currently known from the field. Much of what was presented in the first edition of this Handbook was drawn from one and one-half years of experimentation in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in delivering Workplace Essential Skills to adult learners at a distance.
