Government of Canada Supports Creation of Children’s Television Series and Web Site
CHESTER, June 16, 2005 — Minister of Fisheries and Oceans and Member of Parliament (Halifax West) Geoff Regan, on behalf of Minister of Canadian Heritage and Minister responsible for Status of Women Liza Frulla, today announced $50,700 in funding for Nexus Media Incorporated. The funds will enable the creation of a children’s television series and a Web site based on the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms.
