eCollege Promotes Matthew Schnittman to Senior VP of Professional Services
Promotion Recognizes Critical Role Professional Services Organization Has Played in the Success of Fully Online Programs
DENVER – November 4, 2002 – eCollege(SM) [Nasdaq: ECLG], a leading provider of technology and services for online higher education programs, today announced the promotion of Matthew Schnittman to senior vice president, expanding his executive role within the Company, while continuing to lead the Professional Services organization. Mr. Schnittman’s promotion is in recognition of the strong performance of Professional Services in supporting those involved in its clients’ fully online programs, including administrators, faculty and students.

Additionally, eCollege’s Client Services team has helped administrators maintain and add online programs to average strong year-over-year growth for its customers. Finally, in supporting its clients’ student populations, the eCollege Help Desk has exceeded industry standards for response time by answering 97 percent of phone calls live and averaging email response times of 35 minutes.
