August 20, 2003

The partnership allows educators to access Class.com’s extensive library of academic core and elective online classes through the eClassroom SystemSM.

“Class.com’s proven online content gives districts and states more options in building and growing their online programs,” said Oakleigh Thorne, chairman and CEO of eCollege. “This partnership represents our commitment to bringing the right solutions and offerings together to best meet the specific needs of our virtual school customers, so our customers in turn can help students achieve their educational objectives.”

eClassroom’s complete solution for virtual school success includes planning, administration, course creation and delivery, teacher development and student support. The partnership with Class.com builds on eClassroom’s total outsource solution, enabling schools to easily and quickly build and enhance online programs with complete online classes. Class.com’s online offerings include classes in general subjects such as mathematics, science, social studies and language arts, as well as electives including business, technology and career planning.

“eClassroom has a strong and growing customer base, and we believe our partnership will open doors to bring our content to some of the largest and fastest growing virtual schools in the country,” said Katherine Endacott, CEO of Class.com. “As we continue to extend the reach of our online classes, more students will have the opportunity to engage and excel in both traditional subjects, as well as subjects their schools might not otherwise offer.”
