CollegisEduprise, Inc. steps up technology services at “The Rock”
Maitland, Fla. and Slippery Rock, Pa. – Dec. 18, 2001 – Learning opportunities are getting more fun and efficient at Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania (SRU), which has teamed with CollegisEduprise to enable faculty and students to enjoy the benefits of technology-enhanced education.
CollegisEduprise, a Florida-based technology services and e-Education provider to higher education, today announced a five-year learning technology solutions partnership with SRU, an investment for the university of up to $2.5 million. The instructional technology services include access to superior network management and help desk support, Web services and development, grant development and strategic planning. The improved services will deliver comprehensive online and distance learning initiatives, convenient access to administrative and academic systems, high levels of research, coursework accessibility and service for young and adult learners across the SRU academic enterprise.
The partnership addresses faculty and student demand for increased use of technology to enhance learning opportunities and campus life, using the university’s Web site to deliver information, instruction and technical support to students on main campus and various remote locations.
