College Board Names David Coleman New President
Architect of Common Core State Standards to Lead Nonprofit Education Organization
New York, NY – The Trustees of the College Board today announced that David Coleman will become the organization’s ninth president and CEO. Coleman succeeds Governor Gaston Caperton who is stepping down after 13 years as president. The appointment is effective October 15 and Governor Caperton will serve as president until that time.
