Centra Names Paul R. Daly as Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Marketing

Centra (NASDAQ: CTRA) announced it has appointed Paul R. Daly as Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Marketing. With more than 20 years of progressive accomplishments in the enterprise software industry, Mr. Daly, former President of Baan Americas, brings a strong background of worldwide sales, marketing, channels, and business development experience to Centra’s executive management team. With responsibility for strategic sales and marketing operations worldwide, he will report to Tony Mark, Centra’s President and Chief Operating Officer.

Prior to joining Centra, Mr. Daly held executive-level positions at Baan Corporation, where he oversaw dramatic improvements in profitability, increased average transaction values, reduced DSOs, and the establishment of a successful VAR channel for North and South America. Recently, he was the CEO of OuterForce Systems, a leading provider of business process automation solutions for the publishing industry. Prior to Baan, Mr. Daly held senior sales and marketing management positions with Oracle Corporation, Accenture (formerly known as Andersen Consulting), Datalogix, and Dun & Bradstreet Software.

Mr. Daly holds a Bachelor of Arts in Government from Ohio University. Mr. Daly also serves on the board of Quixi, Inc., a New York-based application software company specializing in Siebel installations.
