Centra Appoints David Anderson New Vice President of EMEA Sales and Service Operations

LEXINGTON, Mass. (October 30, 2002) – Centra (NASDAQ: CTRA), the leading provider of software and services for real-time communication and collaboration, today announced the appointment of David Anderson to its executive management team as Vice President of Sales and Service Operations for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). In his new role, Anderson will report to Paul Daly, Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Marketing at Centra, and will be responsible for leading the company’s EMEA sales, marketing, services, and consulting operations.

Anderson brings more than 25 years’ experience in enterprise application sales and management to Centra. He joins the company from Instranet, where he was UK Managing Director. Prior to Instranet, Anderson was Vice President of Sales and Marketing at InterX plc. In addition, he spent five years with Oracle UK in a number of sales management and senior consulting roles, founded his own consulting practice, and has held various sales and sales management positions within Bull Information Systems, IBM UK, Black & Decker and Perkins (Massey Ferguson). Anderson started his career as a Manufacturing Engineer with Caterpillar.
