BBC denies influencing ‘independent’ PwC e-learning report
In May, the broadcaster submitted a study from consultantcy PricewaterhouseCoopers to back up its £170m plan to supply e-learning software to schools – a scheme currently awaiting approval from culture secretary Tessa Jowell amid fierce objections from private firms already involved in the sector.
