Online Conference for Teaching & Learning Begins Today
If you haven’t yet registered, you may sign-up online now at:http://www.ilonlineconf.org
This conference will be held entirely via the internet and includes nearly 100 presenters leading live workshops in virtual classrooms, producing audio/video “poster sessions” and blogs, and moderating text-based discussion boards. Each day of the three-day conference offers outstanding keynotes and featured speakers.
On Wednesday, for instance, Keynoter Larry Johnson, CEO of the New Media Consortium, presents “Thinking in Future Tense”, an engaging look at what is next on the horizon for teaching and learning, and how educators should approach the future. And in a unique “Learners Panel”, Dan Balzer of the Illinois Math and Science Academy and I will lead an enlightening discussion with teenagers moving into postsecondary education and the workplace about their perspectives and expectations about technology and learning.
A full schedule, including all session titles and descriptions, can be seen at:

Participants and presenters are taking part online in this three-day event from nearly every part of the United States, as well as Canada, Spain, Italy, New Zealand, Australia, Saudi Arabia, Germany, Japan and many other countries.
And there is still time to register:
