Virtual Academics.com Expands Global Recognition
BOCA RATON, FL, November 14th, 2000 – VirtualAcademics.com, Inc. (OTC BB: VADC), an online distance learning company, today announced it has been granted additional licensing and recognition Virtual Academics.com’s Barrington University branch school in China, Wuhan Barrington College has been approved by the Hubei Province Education Department on November 3rd, 2000 File [2000] #115. This college is licensed in cooperation with The Hubei Union University which now has 2,300 students, among them are 120 students completing Barrington University degree programs. After Wuhan Barrington College has establishes it’s campus facilities, the College estimates it will recruit about 300-400 students in the Hubei Province in the coming new year. Distance learning courses will be offered in Chinese through Barrington University, USA. The Wuhan Barrington College also has cooperation agreements with the Wuhan University of Technology to use its facilities to provide Barrington’s degree programs in China.
Barrington University has also established a dual degree program with the Universidad Yacambu of Lara Venezuela to offer Spanish language degree programs. With this new agreement Virtual Academics.com will now have governmental approved curriculum in Spanish, to market to the global Hispanic community.
With this additional new licensure from China added to our present day licensing in Alabama, USA and British Columbia, Canada, and with further recognition from the state government of Venezuela, Virtual Academics is now progressing further with our plan to seek global governmental approvals.
