Educause 2002 Spotlights Campus Pipeline Partner Institutions

EDUCAUSE CONFERENCE SESSIONS
· Tuesday, Oct. 1, 8:30 a.m. – noon, B312. Digital Campus Blueprint: the Framework for Improving Service and Faculty Use of Technology while Reducing Costs.- (This event requires a separate conference registration.)
Join CIOs and Information System Managers from Appalachian State University and Pepperdine University, Plymouth State College and North Shore Community College for this pre-conference panel that will delve into how digital campus technologies have proven to consistently improve service, increase faculty adoption of technology and reduce implementation and staffing costs.

As students, administrators, faculty, and staff expect more and better online services, institutions must implement and unify technologies that will help them in achieving their goals. Relatively new to this mix is enterprise content management, an emerging standard in today’s digital campus.
Drexel University’s Director of Core Infrastructure, Ken Blackney, will share how Drexel is implementing content management technology to streamline the creation and management of campus-affiliated Web content while delivering the right information to the right people at the right time.
