Red Deer College has been chosen as “Site of Week” by EDUCAUSE beginning the week of Monday, November 24, 2003. Visit EDUCAUSE for this profile during this week.
EDUCAUSE is an organization made up of more than 1900 educational institutions worldwide, comprised mainly of universities. Red Deer College is one of the smaller institution members and to be considered and selected for this exciting feature is a tribute to the work of our Web Services team.
EDUCAUSE showcases sites that are well-designed, visually appealing and easy to use. From week-to- week, visitors to their homepage are invited to visit public and private institutions, K-12 schools, large research campuses, community colleges, culturally or faith-based campuses, technical colleges and medical schools. They recently featured the University of Minnesota’s digital Media Centre site (http://dmc.umn.edu) as one of the profiles. Red Deer College is honoured to be profiled among this diverse group of institutions.
Michael Donlevy, Co-Chair of the Web Development Committee, states: “Red Deer College has been concentrating their efforts on the College website over the past two years developing long-term strategies to keep up with the growing demand for web products.
