New $1.5 Million R&D Center Under Construction

Construction of a $1.5 million research and development center in the Maine Technology Park in Orono will open a new chapter in the state’s economic textbook by bringing high tech businesses together with University of Maine researchers under one roof. The facility, known as the Target Technology Center, is being built by the Sheridan Corporation of Fairfield for the Bangor Target Development Corporation in a partnership with the Town of Orono, UMaine and the State of Maine.
