Click2learn Announces Private Placement

Click2learn, Inc. (Nasdaq:CLKS) today announced the completion of a private placement of $6.85 million.

The investment was made at a price of $2.50 per share, resulting in the issuance of 2,740,000 shares of Click2learn common stock, and also includes warrants to purchase additional shares on certain terms and conditions. Proceeds from this private offering will be used for working capital purposes as the Company continues to aggressively roll out the Aspen™ Enterprise Learning Platform. Jefferies & Company, Inc., acted as placement agent.

The Aspen Learning Management Server (LMS) is used for competency management, skills-gap analysis, tracking of assessments and resource management for either e-Learning or instructor-led training. The Aspen Content Development Server (CDS) is used to rapidly author highly effective e-Learning content and manage large, team-based content development projects. And the Aspen Learning Experience Server (LXS) delivers a personalized learning experience to improve knowledge transfer and facilitate knowledge exchange with a community of peers and experts.
