eRate delays require more work, creativity
On Jan. 11, the Schools and Libraries Division (SLD) of the Universal Service Administrative Co.–the agency that administers the $2.25 billion-a-year program–sent letters notifying 2,700 applicants they would be getting $510 million in eRate discounts for the 2004 program year.
