2004 Texas Distance Learning Association Conference
The conference is designed for anyone who uses distance learning technologies in teaching or training. Breakout tracks for the 2004 conference include Teaching and Learning; Emerging Technologies; Management and Administration; Faculty, Staff, and Professional Development; and Research. In addition, there will be a Hands-On Track, as well as an Educator Showcase, Vendor Showcase, and Roundtable Discussions.
Who should go?
Distance learning administrators, designers, instructors, producers, programmers, consultants, trainers, technicians, help desk supporters, or others. Anyone who wants to come to a casual atmosphere and learn, teach, or mentor in an incredibly comfortable networking environment that has grown to be the largest statewide organization in the United States. The expertise is limitless here!

- Welcome Reception and Exhibit Hall Grand Opening on Monday evening
- More than one hundred breakouts, showcases, roundtables, and hands-on sessions
- Exciting opening session called “Theatre of the Imagination”, a premiere panel sponsored by the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation, and a closing session keynote from Julie Young, Executive Director of the Florida Virtual School
