Xpress DV 2.0

Xpress DV 2.0 is the solution I wanted a year ago. I was on the road with my IBM ThinkPad four days a week and I often needed to edit DV footage. At the time, the obvious mobile solutions were Adobe Premiere 5.1c and Apple Final Cut Pro 1.2.5. I went with Final Cut Pro even though it meant carrying a second Macintosh laptop. It did a serviceable job and even outlasted me at the company. When I started my own company in January, I filled the mobile editing void with a Sony Vaio running Premiere 6.0.
