World Wide Web Consortium issues SOAP 1.2 spec

The World Wide Web Consortium yesterday released the first public working drafts of the Simple Object Access Protocol 1.2 specification, to solicit comments ahead of a final recommendation.

The W3C said version 1.2 is compatible with other recently issued specs such as XML Schema, and features “a refined processing model, which reduces ambiguities created by various interpretations of the SOAPnt Professor/Instruction Librarian at the Ruth A. Haas Library, Western Connecticut State University (WCSU) in Danbury, CT.
