When distance education goes bad
Like many good things in life, DE has a bad side. That bad side was on full display late last week as Dawn Gilbertson of The Arizona Republic published elements of a report by the federal government on the recruitment practices of the University of Phoenix. UOP is the largest distance education, for-profit university in the United States.
