ViewCentral and Headlight Host e-Learning Seminar in Palo Alto

February 22, 2001

e-Learning pioneer Brandon Hall, Ph.D. will explain how to establish a Web-based learning program at a free seminar to be held in Palo Alto on Thursday, March 1.

The seminar, entitled “Blended Learning: Increasing Value Across the Enterprise,” will be held at the Garden Court Hotel (520 Cowper Street) from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.

A 20-year veteran of corporate training, Hall is a renowned author, lecturer and researcher on the topic of e-Learning. His Web-Based Training Cookbook is the definitive text for organizations that want to create ROI-based e-Learning programs on the Internet. At the seminar, Hall will discuss e-Learning trends, tools and best practices to maximize an enterprise’s “blended learning” environment.

The seminar is ideal for managers from training, human resources and marketing departments who are involved in training customers or employees. Attendees will learn how the combination of e-Learning, classroom delivery, and a comprehensive learner management system can drive learning revenues while improving training effectiveness as well as customer and employee satisfaction. Following the presentations participants will receive hands-on demonstrations of the latest e-Learning tools.

The event is sponsored by ViewCentral, an eBusiness applications provider headquartered in Mountain View, and San Francisco-based Headlight, a provider of corporate Web-based training solutions that include e-Learning applications and content.
