VCampus Strengthens Its Higher Education Division; VCampus Promotes Don Olcott, a National Leader in Distance Learning

RESTON, Va. — VCampus Corporation (Nasdaq:VCMP)

announced that Dr. Don Olcott, Jr., has been promoted

to Vice President for Higher Education and assumed

all executive management responsibilities for VCampus’

Higher Education Division effective December 1, 2000.

Dr. Olcott, a national leader in distance learning, has served as Associate Vice President for Higher Education Services with VCampus Corporation since April of this year. In his new role, Dr. Olcott will have the overall responsibility for expanding the Higher Education Division to provide a broader array of e-Learning services to colleges and universities in North America.

Dr. Olcott has a prominent academic background and has held numerous executive and faculty positions in higher education at the University of Arizona, the Western Interstate Commission for Higher Education, Oregon State University, and the University of Missouri-Columbia.

He has published extensively in the distance learning area, consulted to institutions and corporations across North America, and has received numerous professional awards for his leadership in the field of distance learning.
