University of Wisconsin System Chooses Firstlogic for Enterprise-wide Information Quality Initiative

La Crosse, Wis. — Firstlogic, Inc. recently announced that the University of Wisconsin System has licensed the software firms entire technology suite in a statewide deployment to optimize the relationship and knowledge management capabilities of its enterprise database system.

The technology solutions chosen by the UW System include Firstlogics information quality suite in both the stand-alone and web deployment, as well as the firms suite of document creation and printing, move-updating and postal discount products. The University also licensed Firstlogics certified PeopleSoft and Informatica technology links to work seamlessly with existing enterprise software.capabilities of its enterprise database system.

The enterprise-wide solution from Firstlogic will enable the University of Wisconsin to cleanse, standardize and consolidate real-time data from web portals, data from legacy systems, and data distributed among its 24 campuses and university extension system. The Firstlogic enterprise solution will be implemented in all of the Universitys PeopleSoft Student Administration modules, including Admissions, Academic Advisement, Campus Community, Financial Aid, Student Financials and Student Records, as well as the PeopleSoft Financial Management for Education and Government. Firstlogics document creation and postal software will be used to generate customized laser-printed documents for recruitment, billing, announcements and alumni communications.capabilities of its enterprise database system.
