The Future of Education in America

On November 16, 2000, Secretary Riley will give a major speech at the National Press Club on the future of education in this country. In recognition of International Education Week, he will highlight the importance of international education in preparing the next generation of Americans to compete successfully in the global economy. Secretary Riley will be joined by the Danish Minister of Education Margarethe Vestager and both will sign a Memorandum of Understanding between the two countries on the importance of international education.
