Telesat launches multimedia trials for remote communities
Canada’s “digital divide” promises to get a little smaller, thanks to a new R&D project launched today by Telesat Canada. Telesat today announced a comprehensive program of high-speed multimedia trials that will test new communications applications and services for schools, businesses, telecommuters and governments in rural and remote parts of Canada.
