TANDBERG Unveils New Group Video Systems

New York, USA, and Oslo, Norway — Feb. 9, 2005 — TANDBERG®, a global leader in visual communication (OSLO: TAA.OL), today announced that its MXP technology now provides an advanced level of support for the Cisco Systems, Inc. Internet Protocol (IP) telephony solution.

TANDBERG introduced dedicated group video systems that provide seamless integration with Cisco CallManager versions 4.0 and 4.1 for business-quality video telephony. The TANDBERG 550 MXP and 770 MXP for Cisco CallManager are set-top video communication systems for small to medium-sized groups. These new products, which are now shipping, provide high-quality video utilizing lower bandwidth and support a range of video telephony features including forward, transfer and hold.

Great care went into designing the new MXP group products so that they will be familiar and easily adopted by Cisco IP telephony users. The products feature an easy-to-use remote control and a sleek new on-screen interface with the same soft keys and function buttons found on Cisco IP telephones. Comprehensive feature integration with Cisco CallManager makes a video call just as easy as a telephone call.

TANDBERG also announced that TANDBERG MXP video systems for individuals and large groups will be integrated with Cisco CallManager later this year.
