The nations Governors, much like the President, are required to report to their legislatures on the state of their states, commonwealths, and territories on an annual or biannual basis. This is also an opportunity for Governors to lay out their agendas for the coming year.
Every year, National Governors Association collects these speeches, makes them available to the general public on our website, and analyzes them to identify the dominant and emerging public policy trends across the country.
