St. Louis public education channel celebrates 50 years on the air
It wasn’t all that much different 50 years ago when a group of St. Louis citizens and civic leaders came together at the request of Mayor Joseph Darst to launch an educational television station licensed to the community. There were some rocky times, but KETC (Channel 9) has survived and even thrived.
