SkillSoft’s Perspectives User Conference To Highlight e-Learning Innovation in Orlando, April 19-22

Attendees will have access to keynotes, breakout presentations, and workshops on a wide variety of topics – including measuring the business impact of learning, blended learning for best performance, internal marketing, learning in the global enterprise, and obtaining executive sponsorship. Customer presenters and panelists include learning executives from Verizon, RR Donnelly, Booz Allen & Hamilton, CNT, NEC America, Mellon Financial and First Data Corporation.

Attendees can choose to participate in any two of six half-day workshops at no additional cost. The workshops, held on April 19 and April 22, provide in-depth coverage of learning best practices, as well as hands-on instruction for use of new features in SkillPort 6, SkillSoft’s learning management system.

The conference will feature several keynote presentations, including:

  • “Making the Intangible Tangible” delivered by Norm Smallwood, co-founder of Results-Based Leadership and co-author of Why the Bottom Line Isn’t: How to Bring Value through People and Organization. Smallwood is an expert in change management, leadership development, and business strategy.
  • Jill Smart, CLO and vice president of human resources delivery for Accenture, will deliver the presentation “When Your People Are Your Product: Delivering Phenomenal Training for Competitive Edge.” Smart is responsible for the personnel management and capability development of the Accenture’s 86,000 employees. She also represents the interests of 23,000 U.S. employees on Accenture’s Geographic Council.
  • Richard C. Berke, corporate vice president of human resources for ADP, will speak on “What is Important When Presenting Your Learning Solution.”

The conference will feature several networking events, including an evening at Universal Studios and a conference dinner. SkillSoft will announce the winners of annual awards recognizing top achievements in implementation, administration, leadership, and other categories at the dinner event.

The registration fee for Perspectives is $595, which includes all keynote and breakout sessions, all networking events, and registration for two half-day workshops.
