November 23, 2004

For the last several months, SkillSoft has also been working on meeting the Project Management Institute’s latest requirements for certifying courseware for continuing education and contact hours. Currently, SkillSoft has 44 courses that have been reviewed and approved for meeting contact hour requirements prior to taking an exam; 289 titles meet continuing education requirements for maintaining PMP certification. SkillSoft also offers test preparation and mentoring services to assist professionals in preparing for project management exams.

“Project management training and exam preparation is a very high priority for many of our clients,” said Lee Ritze, senior vice president of marketing and corporate development. “We believed it was imperative that we pursue an aggressive development schedule in order that our clients could continue to depend on us for this business-critical training.”
