School Testing Bandwagon Spawns Web Coaching Sites

Once a week throughout this school year, the students in Dalea Tatum’s fifth-grade class at the Woodlands Elementary School in Amarillo, Tex., prepared for the state’s standardized test, the Texas Assessment of Academic Skills. But they did not use their trusty No. 2 pencils to fill in dots; instead, they practiced their test-taking skills on the Web.
