Rising Expectations: The Technology Environment at University of Virginia From The Student Perspective

Not too long ago, course registration was a grueling rite of passage for college students across the country. Not anymore. Today’s Wahoos can read class descriptions, register, and add and drop courses from the comfort of their own keyboards or phones. Registration, however, is just one example of the administrative business students now conduct electronically, and it’s a very small piece of the ever-growing online student life. In class, in dorms, in libraries, and labs, technology is now an integral part of the college experience.
