Questionmark Partners with Qarbon.com to Provide Animated Online Demos

July 29, 2002

STAMFORD, CT – July 29, 2002 — Leading testing and assessment software supplier Questionmark today announced a new technology partnership with Qarbon.com Inc.

Qarbon.com publishes ViewletBuilder, which allows businesses to create animated online demonstrations (called Viewlets) that graphically depict how productivity applications, custom software, hardware and other technical processes work. Through the partnership, the two companies will work to make their products compatible.

The quick creation time and versatility that Viewlets provide make Qarbon.com’s authoring tool a natural complement to Questionmark™ Perception™ testing and assessment software. People could look at an animated Viewlet simulation, then take a Perception survey or quiz.

“An animated Viewlet tutorial combined with the testing capabilities that Questionmark Perception delivers, provides customers with a valuable training and assessment tool,” said Qarbon.com CEO Keith Borman.

Questionmark President Eric Shepherd added, “Being able to develop simulations quickly and easily with Viewlets will be of great benefit to Questionmark’s clients. Viewlets offer an exciting enhancement to Perception, and we are delighted to work together with Qarbon.com to make this technology readily available to our customers.”

Thousands of corporations, governmental institutions and universities use Viewlets to train end-users on new systems, provide online user support or market their products and services on the Web.
